This edition of only 350 copies was printed to mark the opening of the Morgan’s 2003 exhibition Picturing Natural History: Flora and Fauna in Drawings, Manuscripts, and Printed Books. Each copy includes a short account of the illustrations and a black and white print from the original woodblock of asarum from Mattioli's Herbal of 1562.
Each copy is numbered from the edition of 350 copies.
