Local jewelry artist Elena Carey Ochs will have an in-store pop-up with her hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry collection Folkloric.
Book Signing with Local Author Barbara Heller
Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Location: Morgan Dining Room (Next to The Morgan Shop)
A book signing with local author Barbara Heller will take place next door to the Morgan Shop in the afternoon. All of her titles are available for purchase with The Morgan Shop.
Barbara Heller refreshes classic novels to include the novel’s characters’ letters and ephemera lovingly recreated and tucked inside glassine envelopes at the appropriate place in the story bringing an interactive experience these famous stories for every reader! She was inspired to create the letters and ephemera in Pride and Prejudice by a desire to hold the characters’ letters in her own hands. Her Handwritten Classic Series for Chronicle Books include: A 2-volume Collector’s Edition of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, a single volume edition of Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen’s Persuasion, L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables, and Louis May Alcott’s Little Women.
In addition to curating the Handwritten Classic Series for Chronicle Books, she finds furnishings for many film and television shows, including Poker Face, Blue Bloods, The Americans, and When They See Us.
