Renoir: Storm Clouds over a Lake Matted Print

Made by the Impressionist artist Auguste Renoir (1841-1919), this watercolor landscape most likely dates from the first half of the 1890s, a decade during which Renoir and his family traveled to several coastal sites outside of Paris, before discovering the qualities of the South of France in the latter part of that decade.
