This special matted print by Domenico Tiepolo offers a scene related to one of Domenico’s popular Punchinello series!
Related to his many depictions of exoctic animals and of Punchinellos encountering them, Domenico Tiepolo’s (1727-1804) piece also recalls the famous paintings by Pietro Longhi of the sensational visit of a rhinoceros known as Miss Clara to Venice in 1751.
