Any antiquarian will wish to don one of these striking necklaces! This necklace design was inspired by a detail from Seal 267 in our collection of Mesopotamian cylinder seals. The pendant reflects the details of the cuneiform inscription from the seal. Available in sterling silver or 14 karat gold-plated sterling silver, the necklace comes on an 18 inch chain.
The full image of the seal includes a lion-headed eagle clutching the hindquarters of two ibexes. Produced between 2139 and 2113 B.C.
