NEW! Inspired by The Morgan's Ancient Seals and Tablets Collections

Any antiquarian will wish to wear these stunning earrings! These earrings are inspired by a detail from Seal 48 in our collection of Mesopotamian cylinder seals. The earrings reflect a detail from the image produced from the cylinder seal when the impression is formed. Available in sterling silver or 14 karat gold-plated sterling silver, the earrings measure approximately 0.25 inch long with a post backing.

The original Seal 48 in the Morgan's collection, produced between 3100 B.C. and 2600 B.C., shows a pattern with two running goats one above the other as a simplified animal, with a bird or fish as two lines forming an angle.
